Beskrivelse fra Scottish Routes, vores faste partner i Skotland:

Day 1 – Wednesday 13th May – Aberdeen Airport to Grantown-on-Spey – Your day would begin with collection from Aberdeen Airport at approximately 2:30pm, to allow time for you to collect luggage, before travelling in to Aberdeenshire for the first distillery visit of your tour at GlenDronach. Following an extensive tasting experience, you will then make your way to Grantown-on-Spey, where we would suggest staying at the Speyside Hotel for your four nights in the town.

Day 2 – Thursday 14th May – Explore Speyside – The second day of the tour would begin with a tour of the Speyside Cooperage, for the opportunity to learn about the traditional skills and craftsmanship of barrel production. This would be followed by a visit to the independently operated Glenfarclas distillery for a Five Decades tour & tasting experience, and a warehouse tasting at Cardhu.

Day 3 – Friday 15th May – Explore Speyside – Day three of the tour would see you visit a couple of the most exclusive distilleries in Speyside, with extensive tours and tastings at Balvenie and Ballindalloch. On this day the group would be split into two groups of eight, due to the limits on group size for visits to each distillery. This means that half of the group will visit Balvenie in the morning, and Ballindalloch in the afternoon, with these visits reversed for the other half of the group.

Day 4 – Saturday 16th May – Explore Speyside – The fourth day of your tour would be the final full day in Speyside, and would include visits to Gordon & Macphail and Glen Moray in Elgin for curated tastings. After a lunch stop you would travel to the Strathisla distillery for a tour of the Warehouses and a tasting experience.

Day 5 – Sunday 17th May – Grantown-on-Spey to Aberdeen Airport – The final day of the tour would begin with a visit to the GlenGarioch distillery for a final tasting experience, before the tour will end with a drop-off at Aberdeen Airport.

At this stage this is just a proposal, and we can adapt or redesign this to prepare the best possible tour for you. Based on a group of 16 travellers sharing 8 twin rooms, we would be able to offer this tour for a total price of £25,200, which is £1,575 per person. This price would include transportation in one of our fleet of 16-seat minibuses, the services of one of our expert driver-guides, four nights of accommodation at the Speyside Hotel in Grantown-on-Spey (or similar) including breakfast, and the distillery tastings and tours mentioned in the above itinerary.

Please be aware that some distilleries are yet to confirm their full plans for 2026, so we may need to make some slight changes to this itinerary, we will keep you updated with any changes.
